Cloud Strife [FF7 Fan-Art]

Fan-Art 3D Model of Cloud Strife from Squaresoft's Final Fantasy VII.

This was made with the retro-gasm contest prompt of taking a character from a 5th generation video game title and re-depicting him/her/it with current-gen. graphics. Aside from love for the character, the challenge to myself for the project was to stand out from Square Enix's new FF7 remake depiction of Cloud, as well as Konrad Sakowski's fantastic fan art depiction of the same character. I set out to achieve this by staying true to iconic elements of his look and design (i.e Hair and Pants) while also giving him a stockier, even stylized idealized, frame and build to suit the characters military background.
